Just Back from the One Light Workshop

Have you ever had something you love to do, but wish someone could come and tell you how to do it better, prettier, and more fun?

Well, this week Zack Arias from http://www.UsedFilm.com came to Indianapolis for a 1 1/2 day intensive workshop called the "One Light Workshop", and it was honestly one of the most intensely enjoyable learning experiences I've ever had.

Pure Fashion 2007 -- Fort Wayne IN

On Saturday May 5, I was blessed to be a part once again of Pure Fashion's spring show in Fort Wayne Indiana.

This year's show was over twice the size of last year's, and it featured speakers including Brenda Sharman, the national chair of Pure Fashion.

Lindsey and Mike's Engagment session

Sunday evening, I visited Tipton Indiana for the first time -- it's such a cute town! I got to hang out with Lindsey and Mike who are getting married on 7/7/07 and make some really fun images with them.

Michael Kelsey in concert

Last night, I went to Beatniks Cafe for an awesome concert with Michael Kelsey, a guitarist from Lafayette IN.

"Guitarist" is putting it lightly folks, I should maybe say "guitar legend" or something a bit more descriptive because the music was absolutely unbelievable!

I picked up a couple of his CD's at the CD table, and am enjoying them so much! In fact, the music I used for the slideshow is one of the songs from his Gruvency CD. Good stuff!

Hopefully this week I'll get caught up with the images from the Pure Fashion show in Fort Wayne, so keep your eyes open for those!

Beatnicks Coffee House

I visited Beatnik's Coffee House on Friday night and had a great time listening to Pianoman Jason and Dawg (Adam) cranking out the tunes!

Pictage Partner Conference, Chicago Illinois

As my clients may know, I have recently joined forces with Pictage to provide you with the finest quality prints possible. As a result, I was invited to the Pictage Partner Conference in Chicago this past week, where I spent time learning from various industry greats as Mike Colon, Denis Reggie, David Jay, Nathan and Amber Holritz, LaCour, Jessica Claire, Kevin Swan, Fred Egan, Corey McNabb... the list goes on for pages!

I had a fantastic time, and of course brought my camera with me so that I could share a little of the flavor with you.

Jen and Chip's Engagement Session

A few weeks ago, on what has to be the most beautiful Sunday afternoon ever, I got to spend some time with Jen and Chip on Chip's family farm in St Joe Indiana.

What a lovely setting! I drove up the driveway after being guided in by cell phone, and was greeted by Chip with a Diet Coke and a smile. Soon Jen was ready and we headed out into the lovely sunny outdoors for their engagement portraits.
