Chipotle - Yum!!

On Friday, I had an interview with a really sweet couple at Borders Book Store near the Fashion mall, (Hi guys!) and since it was getting to be dinner time afterwards, we headed to Chipotle for some dinner.

I'd not tried Chipotle before, but had eaten at similar types of restaurants so I knew what to expect.

First, you decide what kind of food you want -- a burrito, tacos, a salad, or a "bowl" where they just simply put your stuff in a bowl without the tortilla. Then the staff behind the counter makes it for you.

Just that simple! Two steps!



The guy behind the register hands you a tray full of all that yummy goodness, and you go to pick a table. The burritos are seriously huge!



The guacamole was sooooo yummy and fresh! I just loved it. Seriously good stuff.

Afterwards, you take half of it home in a sack:



Mmm good! I had an entire second meal out of the leftovers of just my burrito. Definitely try it out if you get the opportunity!

Professional Photographers of Indiana convention

This weekend, I had a total blast with a couple hundred photographers at the Marriott on the South East side of Indianapolis for the big convention and tradeshow. There were so many great speakers -- I filled half a notebook with notes from them all.

Among the speakers, were Brian Crussel who talked about the changing face of senior portraiture, Shawn Wright, who shared his thoughts on being remarkable (not just being "good"). Fran Reisner spoke with us about focusing on the passion, and Mark Garber's program "Survivor, Wedding Island" concentrated on wedding photography. Canon Explorer of Light Bruce Hamilton Dorn showed slide after amazing slide from his incredible inspiring work with weddings and portraiture.

And to top it all off, the big Superbowl party featured a win by the Indianapolis Colts! Who could ask for more!

Adventures in Radio!

Yesterday during the big blizzard we had here, I went to Kokomo to record my first ever radio advertisement! I was so geeked out -- Me! On the radio!

The ad will be airing on Kokomo's Z92.5 between now and February 18th, the date of the bridal show at the Johanning Civic Center in Kokomo.

Did you notice that the music on the ad is the same as the music on my website? I was so happy to be able to have it match! I couldn't get a radio ad to match in color or scent, but the sound is at least the same! Yay for the recording guy who did it for me!
